Gandhi Jayanti Celebration

Gandhi Jayanti was celebrated with great zeal and enthusiasm. Children dressed as Mahatama Gandhi and Lal Bahadur Shastri, paid tribute to the freedom fighters and showed glimpse of Dandi March. They also sang poems and patriotic songs, waving the tricolor flag. Mentors encouraged the children to follow the path of truth and non-violence as taught by Gandhi Ji.

The day ended with a thought in everybody’s mind that cleanliness is next to godliness and service to mankind is the first step towards reaching it.
