Raksha Bandhan- a sacred bond of love of brother and sister which is tied with a single piece of thread has a greater significance in our Indian Culture and to celebrate this love 'Rakhi Making' activity was conducted in school premises for grade Learners to Scholars. Mili, silk thread/ ribbon, pompoms, beads, stars etc were used by the students to create beautiful rakhis. The tiny tots of Innokids celebrated the Raksha Bandhan festival of love and togetherness . Children came beautifully dressed up in the traditional attire and had an essence of festivity. The students were enlightened about the joyous festival and it's importance. The celebration also included some fun filled activities like they beautifully crafted Rakhis, decorated the thali, enjoyed gift wrapping and shared the sweets with each other.
